EXPORTING YOUR FILM FROM ADOBE PP6
A.
i. How do you export?- Before exporting, you have to make sure that all the videos to be exported are rendered. (it should all be green. Also, make sure there isn't; any extra bits you don't want on your timeline. And make sure that; everything is exactly working properly (find files, sounds etc...)
ii. Where do you export to?
- Click onto the format and choose the following file type (e.g FLV)
- Once it's been loaded, you then click Export.
iii. How do you name your file? Why is this important?
- When naming your file, it has to be labelled as "examplenamev1.mp4" You include your group name, the scene and the version number.
- This is important as you won't end up having "myadvert.mp4, myadverts.mp4, myadvertss.mp4 etc.."
iv. What are the different formats? explain, discussing the file size, resolution/quality and purpose- where will it be used and why is that important?
- mp4- It is a compressed file that's used on most video files to use to stream online as well as music that is placed on CDs. the file size is 53.7 MB. You can use the format file on phones, computers, iPod etc..The purpose of this is to be able to have a hd quality of your chosen movie or video. It is important because, it's very handy when it comes to downloading music and you would want to transfer it to your iPod.
- mov- mov is a movie format used for Quicktime. It's often used for saving movies and other video files. The file size is 119.6 MB. It's a very common file format to be used with the video cameras as well, and then played on the computer using Quicktime player. It is important because,
- flv- Flash Video (FLV, F4V) is a container file format used to deliver video over the Internet using Adobe Flash Player versions 6-11. Flash Video content may also be embedded within SWF files. There are two different video file formats known as Flash Video: FLV and F4V.
- avi- AVI means Audio Video Interleave, is a multimedia container format introduced by Microsoft in November 1992 as part of its Video for Windows technology. The AVI file type is primarily associated with 'Audio Video Interleave File'. Recent files might be compressed with one or another codecs. It can also be seen with VLC Player, MPlayer, The KMPlayer. - wmv- Windows Media Video (WMV) is a compressed video compression format for several proprietary codecs developed by Microsoft. The original video format, known as WMV, was originally designed for Internet streaming applications. It cannot be used in the apple Mac.
B. Converting AND Clipping your video using MPEG STREAMCLIP
i. How do you import your film?- In order to import your film, you click onto file; Export to (e.g AVI).
ii. Which formats could you use- why is this important?
- You can export the movie using the following formats; Quicktime, DV, AVI, MPEG.4, Audio, Frame. It is important as you can export your films in different file types so you can upload them in different electronics.

Converting files from one type to another is important so that the file can be
used by different types of programs. For example you could pull video off off a DVD but iTunes wouldn't be able to play that video unless it was encoded in the correct file type.

iii. How do you annotate your video?
Firstly, you go onto your Youtube channel, click onto Video manager and your video. Once you're on it, you then click annotations. Then you can continue and annotate however you want.
